XS650 fork tubes with CB550 sliders
« on: August 06, 2009, 08:55:37 AM »
Will it work? They are the same diameter outside, but would the internals (Damper rod) match up? Does anyone know if there is a legnth difference?

Good price on tubes here

Looks like I'm on my own on this one.
Time to visit the NOS area of the yamaha shop and compare tubes.

$129 is good if you have a yami. but for all the work required i would spend the extra $20 and get some from http://cyclexchange.net/Honda%20Page.htm that will mount right up. get -1 or -2. you'll have to measure, i know the 550 is shorter the the 750 by an inch or more.

might as well do it right, especially if right is easier.  ;D

good luck.
