Topic: carb dissambly questions

I am in the process of cleaning and rebuilding my carbs, and I have got them most of the way pulled apart.  All but one at least...

I can not seem to get the linkage piece off the throttle shaft.  The set screw on the linkage seems stuck-- any tricks to pulling it, or do I need to find a drill?

I'm not real familiar with 750 carbs, but on my 500 I didnt pull the linkage apart completely.  Maybe a picture would help if you can post one or even find one online somewhere.  Also, somebody just posted a Motorcycle classics article about carb rebuild, you should check it out if you haven't.
