Show me a truck that gets 60 miles per gallon and I'll buy it!!!!
I regularly got 57 mpg on my 1200 Sportster which is over twice the displacement of my CB500 which only gets between 30 and 40 mpg. Two cylinders being fed by only 1 carburetor must make the fuel efficiency difference. This is why I have never understood the whole scooters for fuel mileage thing. You can still look like you have a pair and get great mileage. Don't get me wrong, I like anything on two wheels, but you kind of look like a weenie on a scooter. By the way, I still want an old Honda Cub for the GREAT gas mileage.
