Topic: 750 swing arm in a 550.

Ok I've read that a 750 swing arm will work in a 550 but was wondering if anyone can get me some measurements of a 750 swing arm.  I got a stack of scrap aluminum and was thinking about making a swing arm out of it for my other 550 project.  I know the 750 swing arm is a little longer but can't find any measurments on it.  Had this idea floating in my head for awhile and think I want to try it out.   So can someone please get me some measurements. And info on where I can get bearings for it and other items to install it.  If all works out my dad wants to make a few and sell them for people to try out. 


I will need mounting point width on frame.  Wheel mounting width and also length and mounting point of shock.  And I think there's a few other measurements oll need but not sure.   So if someone can help me out or if honda man wants to chime in I would greatly appriciate it.  Also let me know what u guys think about this idea.  If I do sell them they will be made to order but want to make a few and test them out first.

Ok I remeber reading honda mans post on it.  So now I got to get some measurements and build one and try it out.  Its mostly going to be a trial and error build.  But my next quetion is was thinking about adding some greese fitting to the swing arm.  Where on the mounting point should I add them should I just put one in the center or add one to each side?  Also where can I get bearings and seals?  And also to clean it up would a long #8 bolt work or should I use the stock one?  Just trying to get some ideas to clean it up but also make it stronger.

swingarm is a little narrower than the CB swingarm, a couple inches longer and the axle bolt is a bit smaller,, pivot bolt is the same diameter so I will have to hog out the swingarm a bit to make the cb axle work
