Rice-O-Rama Sunday Sept 13 Massachusetts
« on: September 06, 2009, 05:56:37 AM »
I have a vendor table and will be bringing both my CB750's to Rice-O-Rama if anybody interested in buying either one. Plus lots of parts. And beer.
The 3rd annual RICE-O-RAMA Vintage and Custom Japanese Motorcycle Show and Swapmeet is coming up soon. Hundreds and hundreds of Japanese bikes of all descriptions. All kinds of parts for sale, vendors from all over the northeast (over 100 last year) Bikes for sale from restored and original classics, customs, and of course parts bikes and project bikes too. Got stuff to sell? bring it on down- there's no better place to sell a Japanese bike or some parts.
It's a bike show too- with more than 25 trophies up for grabs for all classes of vintage and custom Japanese bikes. Come see some real beautiful machines on display.

Sun Sept.13th at the North Brookfield Sportsmans Club- 20 Boynton Rd. North Brookfield, ma. 10-5 rain or shine.

Check out our website for details and pictures from the last 2 years. http://www.rice-o-rama.com We hope to see you there, the Crew.

wow, i'm glad to be blowing off bill paying in favor of trolling the forum! thanks for the heads up 736cc.

i'm going to do my best to make it, likely without my550, and will drag some friends along.

Ok. I ride my bike always. However, I plan to find a pipe at the show. Now here is the question. Since I plan to show my bike, it has to be there, since I plan to buy parts, my truck has to be there. Now I'm forced to either show the bike and forego the swap meet or trailer the bike and shop for what I need. I live 68 miles away so I can't ride home and then back with truck for parts. I'm just in a pickle. Bike and back pack, no swap meet or trailering the bike?  ??? >:( :-[

What a great show, I managed to pick up a few parts for bargain prices.
This bike was one of my favorites, anyone here recognize it?

Just look up about 3 inches above on your computer screen, its CB550FCAFE's bike1
Great show, nice bikes, the swapmeet was real bottom-feeding (which can be fun)

lynchj, Yea thats my bike. It took first place in the class. I'm very happy. The bike is a blast to ride and brings alot of attention. I hope we had a chance to meet. I walked around all day with a sign on my back looking for forum members, I met a few(hey 736cc). Its cool to put a face to a user name. Thanks for your nice comments.

I probably bumped into different members but I didn't see / notice  ecosse's SOHC shirt or the sign that was on cb550fcafe had on his back (guess I'm not the most observant person when I'm around old rusty parts). I spent most of my time with my face buried in old junk boxes looking for cheap "treasures".
There were a LOT of people there! I wish I could have met up and introduced myself to others but it just didn't happen. I think 736cc was a vendor (am I right?) so I must have talked to you but I wasn't sure who was who.

Cool single with the belt drive!

looks like I am not the only one having trouble meeting up with FORUM memebers at a swap meet.. :o

best to exchange phone #s etc, and post pics of yer mug, I know no one is going to guess I am a Honda fan, I look more like a Pan or Knuckle owner to some folks..
