Brenny's Motorcycle Clinic in Bettendorf,IA has 77 CB550 with about 10k for miles, asking $1600 to $1800.
They have a web site.  I brought mine several years ago for about $2000 total for both, privately.

Only $800!! Factor in the $400 to ship it anywhere in the States and it sounds like you have a deal -intact 4-4 pipes, luggage capacity, runs well, etc etc....

That's a very good point.  I forgot about uship and the like.  I was quoted around $350 to ship a bike from PA to FL a while back...

I shipped a 90 zx 10 from Indiana to Laredo TX for $525 could'nt go get it for that. It was using U-Ship but it took 3 weeks for it to get there
