This story is amazing and true. The guy in the Kayak is a professional fisherman and while fishing one day he came across this huge shark trapped in a net of lobster pot, {i'll try and find the story and video} The fisherman cut the shark free and it hung around for a while and then disappeared. Next time he went out in his fishing boat the shark recognised the boat and came over, it has been doing this for a while now and it even comes halfway out of the water next to the boat and lets the fisherman pat it on its belly. This guy also kayaks and while doing this one say he was surprised to see {very surprised i'd say  :o} to find his "mate" following behind. The shark has never tried to attack him and as far as i know it still follows him around.....amazing

Wow that is an amazing story.. I have watched a few Discovery channel shows on sharks and they usually only attack if they mistake you for there favorite meal from underneath the water, or if there is a feeding frenzy going on. There does not seem to be any evidence that they even like the taste of human flesh. I hope you find the video that would be awesome to watch.

I can't say 100% percent that this is real but it was on the news when it first happened and here is a bit of a clip.
