cutting out ???

Hey guys...... after sorting out the chop i seem to have a problem ......... when i open up the bike to take over or just open her up she cuts out and then goes again very strainge any ideas... iv never had this problem before........ as soon as you ease off she fires up again other than that she runs like a dream... its defo not a machanical problem....... im guna try a new set of plugs see if that sorts it

Mine does that sometimes... but I'm thinking that mine might have something to do with having way too long of a clutch cable and not fully engaging or disengaging the clutch

What bike is this?

Are you running pods?  My 750 with pods won't take a sudden whack on the throttle and reacts like you describe, but if I roll on the throttle a bit more gradually it's ok.  I've always attributed this to the lack of a stock airbox.

The models with accelerator pumps are more tolerant of this sort of thing from what I hear so that may also be a factor.

Thanks guys .... its a cb550 drag pipes an pods...... iv had her on the road for 18months never a problem till now i re-jetted her just fine....... its been a gradual thing it has electronic ignition as well...... i origanaly thought the clutch was slipping but i know its no now..... i know its a case of illimination...... i will try the new plugs and check all the electrics and let you know......
