I can think of lots of other songs that would have worked for this. Oh well, it's all in fun. :D

Can someone clue ME in on the songs that go with #25 & # 28?  ???

Actually, I thought #25 was a little wrong on the test. I remembered an old song, maybe not a doo-wop though. In my mind it should have read "nobody else's but mine." I'm probably wrong though. The word but would have come next though so that's why I chose it.

here's a link. I love his shaving cream song, too.  ;D

I didn't know 28 either. I just guessed at that one. It seemed the best choice to me from what we had to pick.

Yeah, I know, but I just can't let go of some things and the old music keeps me going (after all, I don't have Brenda and alot of that old music makes me remember her.

I'm not gonna lie about it, I got 3 wrong too. ::)

Bill my problem is that I'm a little older than that and I get nostalgic for Big band music the real good stuff and just after Bill Hailey came out with Rock Around the Clock I started to transition to jazz mainly as a response to the truly crappy country music coming out of Quebec at the time (I was in boot camp at the time in St.Jean PQ.) and after going to trade school in Ontario and having to listen to 24 hours of WWV ( Wheeling West Virginia) Country and Western? music I became a hard core Jazz freak. You know, haunting back streets and the waterfronts at the darkest parts of the night with only stray cats for companions, hoping for an ever elusive fix of notes.

I forgot lurking in alleys and talking to unseen voices through little windows in doors that whiffed low laughter and sensuous smells.
