Hi, new to the board and first time bike builder. Just picked up a 75 cb550. hope to have it together for spring 2010.

welcome to the forum! where exactly in connecticut are you/ i was born and raised in windsor. i've been gone for 20 years though. graduated windsor high school, class of 1986.

Hey Bucky, sorry I haven't replied. I don't get on the site all the time and usually don't remember to check if anyone has replied to me.
I live in Glastonbury, and work in S.Windsor. Grew up in Manchester.
As far as moving away, you aren't missing much. Same old -same old: taxes, taxes, taxes. Still it's home to me and my family.

   I am not too far from you in New Britain.  Drop me a line sometime maybe we can go for a ride sometime.  I also got a ton of parts for the SOHC fours, well I guess that happens when you own a MC salvage yard.

Taxes you call those taxes. Come to the Peoples Republic of NY, you will see taxes.  ;D I wish you guys were closer.

I do travel a bit, especially when I am a parts dealer, So NY is not that far for me.  I do agree with you NY is getting pretty rough on the taxes.
