i'll second "The Office" -- that's my new/current favorite.  future classic, possibly.  did i hear correctly it's a remake/rip-off of a Brit show?

Never watched either version, but every review I've heard says that the BBC series is WAY (as in much, much, much) better done than the American series.  The way the reviewers go on about it, I've been tempted to buy the DVD of the British series - or search out a few episodes to download.

RED GREEN!

I loved how he would duct tape together some crazy vehicle and try to drive it. Something like motorcycle meets trike, pickup truck, clothes dresser, an out house, fishing hut, vanity mirror, mobil grill, and about 100 rolls of duct tape.  ;D :D

Will have to be content with re-runs next season.  Steve Smith is retiring Red Green. :'(
I'll have to buy the DVD ;D

Yeah, I was deeply saddened by the news of that. There should be a national day of Mourning in Canada. :'(

Hey, Cheapo- Did you see the one where Red tried to build a propane-powered Possum Van? (And damn near blew up the entire Possum Lodge?) ;D

Monty Python definately the best of the bunch. Fawlty Towers already mentioned - a real classic. The Office. I'm sure David Brent is moddeled on a guy I work with. League of Gentlemen is funny but an aquired taste I think (Are you local?) :D. Loads of others all ready mentioned. WHAT ABOUT 'DAD'S ARMY'. A classic golden oaldie. (Vot is your name? DON'T TELL HIM, PIKE  :D :D).

From over the pond. there are loads too. Simpsons of course. Everyone Love s Raymond has just gone on to prime time here. Very funny. Friends was really good too. OH nearly forgot about M.A.S.H. - absolutely brilliant.

Better stop getting carried away now.
