i'm def. going to start saving my pennies for one of these!!!  who cares if i'm just building a slightly hopped up stock bore motor, an open clutch is AMAZING!  i rode an older monster with one, and it was so much fun.  it IS a bit different feeling, but it's totally worth it!  and just the rattling and clanking sound coming from under your right leg is worth it alone!!!  nice exhaust + open clutch racket = auditory nirvana  8)

Well I wished all could go quicker, but there has to be food on the table also. Think of it as Santa, you have to wait awhile but when you can open that present...............Wow! ;D

well i'm sure that i would not be the only one who would be willing to put a deposit for one of these.  just let me know how much and where it should go, and it'll be there!!

one other thing, the kickstarter can still be retained correct?  also, how is the motor blocked off so oil doesn't leak out?  thanks vox!!!

We'll discuss the possibility of putting a deposit in, when the testruns are a succes. But thanks in advance for the vote of convidence. We appriciate that.
The kickstarter can still be used. The clutch runs in a 'basket' which has a oilretainer to keep the oil in. We will make sure that it is a sound oil barriere.

The Nova dry clutch uses a simple double lipped oil seal for the clutch shaft and it seems oil tight...

but i do appreciate quality, and you my friend, have that oozing everywhere!!!  i can't WAIT for you to get these kits for sale, this was one of my original wishes for the old girl!  now i don't have to go buy a Duc!!  thanks for the updates though Rob, i understand how you're busy, so keep up the good work!!

Do not mind the bugging, it is good to keep the pressure on (a bit). Well it is a bit hectic. We're finishing off some triple sets for a 500 Four racer, just finished some sets of preload adjusters for a 50cc racer and a CB900. Am building a few swingarms and still try to build off my street Japauto so we can testdrive the clutch. Next to that my daily job keeps me busy too.
Do the best I can.

i just wish i had a running bike, then i could test one of your first production prototypes!  :-D

now i just need to get you to make a dry clutch for my 01 spirit 750!!

Some work just can't be done with my machines and have to use machinery from a friend of mine. These are done on a 'teach-in' mill, not a full CNC but let's say one step under. Made them for a guy who uses them in his 500 classic racer. Off-set is just 25 m/m.
Can produce them however you want. Made from 6082, these weigh only just over 1.1 kgs. Will PM you for pricing.

Got a couple Mazak's and a (got it used from a business auction)CNC Mill so... If it ever arises.

Are you based in the Netherlands? Or just go there sometimes? I don't I actually know.

Maybe a US based manufacturer to keep costs low for the Yanks? lol.

Thanks for the offer! Yes, I am Dutch so you can say I am based in the Netherlands ;D Got a lot of other work, and the mill I have is conventional. A good friend of mine, who is a wizard on lathe and mill, helps me out a lot has a 'teach-in mill'. Will certainly keep your offer in mind.
