Any one looking to have their bike painted, I'd be glad to talk to you about it.  Here's a few examples of my work. The Honda 550F was featured as an "American Flyer" in Cycle World magazine.  It also competed and placed 2nd in class at the '08 Legend of the Motorcycle, and the Suzuki is featured in the second (current) issue of Moto Retro Illustrated.  I can do one for you, too..custom, or restoration.  Just pm or email me.

1976 Honda CB550F Super Sport

1977 Honda GL1000 Goldwing

1982 Honda MB5 with CR80 engine

1972 Honda XL250

1979 Suzuki GS1000S

No decals on this bike.  All the stripes and lettering are painted on.

In the 'for sale' section there is a 'services offered' section, but I don't suppose it gets as much traffic.  You might also try posting some of your great pics in the  'inspiration gallery' thread.

That MB5 must be a blast, I wonder how many states it'd be legal in?

Ah..that's where I should've checked.  Thanks for the tip.  I figured there was probably a more appropriate place to post this thread.  If it gets moved, I'll understand.

The MB is the hardest bike I own to ride  Grin  The CR80 motor is so pipey that even with a six speed you have to ride it like it's on fire, and that becomes a challenge in city traffic at times.  But it's way quicker than the stock 50cc engine, and a grand experiment overall.  Small children cover their ears, elders shake their fist at you..great fun..

NY is one of them, I can promise that Smiley

Was gonna do the CR80 motor conversion too, but ended up going with a 72cc big bore kit for mine.

Great looking paint jobs!

Thanks very much.

The CR transplant was really involved.  If I had it to do over again, I too, would've gone the route you did.  I'm sure it's much more streetable and I'm assuming still utilizes the oil injection?  The CR engine is a racer, you have to ride it like one all the time, you also gotta mix the gas and oil, but..it really is fun.

This would be the correct place to put this thread.  Thanks for the tip Alan.

Thanks very much.  I'll go ahead and post a few into that thread.  It's a good one.  So many cool bikes to drool over.

I've been posting pics of these bikes for the last couple of months on different sites hoping to drum up a little business, and of course to share with other enthusiasts.  The GS1000S is my first Suzuki, and I absolutely love that bike.  I've wanted one since they first came out.  To modify one has been a dream come true for me.  Thanks for the kind words.

I love painting scallops.  I'm sure I could come up with a design/color scheme and it would look great on a 750K.  When you decide, I'd very much enjoy the opportunity to do it for you. Please feel free to contact me at (509) 995-4800 or email me at www.larryopearson3@q.com.  Thanks for the compliment on the Goldwing.  One of my favorite bikes for sure.
