there really aren't any "kits" per say you have to buy the jets individually and there is a bit of trial and error. I moved to 125's on a stock motor with pods and 4-2 exhaust and am a lot happier with performance but I think I could go a bit leaner( I still have a bit of tweaking to do with the needles). the later carbs take a little more work but can be worth the time if you take the effort to learn their faults. luckily I have a local mechanic that has built a lot of 750's and has enlightened me on a few things but research is going to be your best friend here.
Chuck dont need oil. Engines run cause they are afraid of chuck! ;D

Did you ever find jet for your bike. I mainly need pilot jets. The ones for the 77-78 are push in versus screw ins for the earlier model bikes.

I tried and tried, no one has new pilot jets for these carbs anymore.  Not sure anyone ever really did.  The consensus I found was most folks felt that even on crazier big bore motors the factory pilot jetting is sufficient. Needle and main jet adjustment is where you probably need to focus.

Wow surprised I never found them before, I tried like heck to find new slow jets.  They have a handful between #30-#58.  Only #45 and #58 bigger than stock for my 750F but that is something.

Thanks for the link luap. I ordered mine last night and they shipped today. I got both 40 and 45's for the pilots since i'm unsure of how much fuel we'll need at idle. Couldn't get any plug color using the stock 35's. Running pod type filter and an open sidewinder.

what did you ever end up finding as the best combo?  i just bought pods and have a 4 into 2 exhaust which should be similar.
