Took my front wheel off so I can send my caliper and rotor to Godffrey's. Come to find out I was missing two screws that are supposed to hold the caliper on. Good thing I haven't taken it out since I purchased the bike.

Finally took time off from riding with all the recent rain we had lately to install some different bars.

I replaced the roof on my shop - where all the work is done.  Does it count?

Looks like a nice property you have Prokop,  grape vines in the back?  Hard to tell...Larry

Yes, Larry, I grow grapes to make wine.  Reds for me and some whites for my wife.  It was a project to keep me occupied when I was out of work.

Looks good Chris.   Consider modifying that exhaust mount, instead of going up to the shock, have it mount to the rear peg instead.  Never did like that mount that Kerker supplied.

That is next on the list. I was trying to remove the baffle one day and noticed it was pretty stuck. I heard that after removing the muffler, I could take a bat and knock out the baffle in reverse. Long story to a short statement. The muffler doesn't want to come off and looks like I could do without the supporting strap all together; I don't think it will fall off.

It may not fall off but still good to have support to keep it from bouncing when hitting a bump.

I would think the muffler would work itself off.

And if you don't support the muffler, the whole leverage of the exhaust will be working flanges and studs in the head up and down and that is not a good thing.

Yeah...the rear peg is the preferred place...
Just couldn't see that strip well enough in the first pic.  Much cleaner than hanging from the top shock mount.
Nice work.

Did something I have not done since late fall

Well?

Hit post instead of preview.  I actually worked on a motorcycle for the first time this year and probably since Nov. of last :-[ :-[

I got the miniWang(also known has Honda GL500I Silverwing) running and ready to sell.  It had been sitting winterized since I got my golf cart(also known as Pacific Coast).  Valves, cam chain, carb sync, fluids changed, washed and waxed-ready to go to the next user(also known as forum member McWilliams570).

I was(and still am to some extent) burnt out from working on motorcycles, plus I need to get my fixer-upper house into decent, liveable condition.  Strange thing that at 67 I do not have the energy I once had ??? ???....Larry

Today, after many meticulous hours, I'm finally done sanding the valve train cover with the first grit. Every nook and cranny I could physically reach with my fingers and styrofoam blocks are sanded. Only place I can't seem to get into is those letters that read "OHC 750...". Should I plastic brush dremel these?

Noticed my clutch cable isn't working too well on a lunch run.
Hopefully it's the cable and not the clutch going.

Installed new Webster oil gauge adapter/gauge. Mounted new right handlebar controls/cables, and hooked up the throttle cables to the carbs. Also, hand my welder do some work on my custom oil tank-if the pressure test is good, I should be ready to mount the tank and hook up the oil lines. Re-polished the oil tank with my friends heavy duty buffer-love that thing. Shiny, shiny.
