no problems.
.if all fails i go for a farm job.(.have still my massey Ferguson 699). and my digger /loader b 50.( museums machines)  .no one other then polaks Work on farms..so i had to learn to speak polish ,to job there..and pay protektion money to the russian mafia..

Finally sorted out the clunking drive chain noise coming from around the front sprocket on the cb400f. Took the new chain off, took the front sprocket off, put it all back together again and the noise went away. Go figure.

Hey me too!
After a summer-into-fall rebuild I fired up the XS650 for the first time since I bought it five years ago.....

Sounded pretty good. Will sound even better after a little tuning.

Decided I needed a day off from Uber activities (during the week I usually pick up a ride or 2 on my way to the office) left the 4 wheel vehicle at home and road the 550 to work. This is the first time I have ridden it since the Distinguished Gentlemen's ride a few weekends ago.

Finished rebuilding my clutch (it had been stuck). Then I put the floor board back on the right side. I want to take it out for a ride before our Minn winter starts. I need to take the carbs off and give them a once over this winter. It runs rich at idle otherwise it runs great.
I've been toying with the idea of hydrodipping my tank, side covers, fairing and saddle bags. My brother-in-law does this. Has anyone tried this before? I know I have a lot of extras on it and I think I want to keep it this way. It was a window display model in '72 at a motorcycle accessory shop. Not many '72's around with floor boards and heel toe shift. So I'd like to do an interesting paint/hydrodip finish. Any suggestions??

Hydrodip is an amazing look.  The sky is the limit as far as creativity goes.  Especially for tesselated patterns.  For classic styled finishes though, it wont beat airbrush or hand laid pinstriping.

I've been looking into that too.
Research is important - local dipper was able to find a film company that would produce a one-off based on my idea and then "retire" it so it would be my exclusive.
Takes just as much surface prep as a paint job though.

What about vehicle wraps for tanks and bodywork?
Anybody ever explore that option?
