FACT:         Who ever wins STREET ET. on SATURDAY or SUNDAY should have their picture on some motorcycle drag racing site [ DRAGBIKE.COM ] for all to see and burn into their minds that face and bike.  WHY: They had to go 10-15 rounds of 2 [two] rounds of buy backs and a starting field of 50 more or less first round racers in STREET ET. and that person alone has to be the BADDEST BRACKET RACER [ No bar ] in the USA that day and maybe the world = better than any NHRA WALLY for 4 rounds !!!!!  I would hope that Dave Schnitz would have that racer in his booth at the big dealers show in INDY 2013 = GOT TO SHAKE THIS BRACKET RACERS HAND.

There were many serious bad ass bikes and riders there, very few of which posted times of 10+. 8's were common as water. And they just kept running them through only stopping for the occasional break down plus 1 rider down (that I saw).

Just got back home this morning guys- we had a few of our Georgia team members still in the race after you left so it was a long night.

Good to meet all of you in attendance at the race. Sorry i couldn't spend more time with you fellas- more like drive by's. I finally put faces to screen names and forum posts. I see everyone survived the weekend and had a great time based on the posts i've read today. In particular, i'm Very happy to see that Sam got those winning tickets. That what this whole effort was about and it was a success. There's nothing like having that first win at a major event like the Cup race. I enjoyed seeing the SOHC's running down the 1320 with the plastic bikes. I think you guys single handedly reintroduced old school to the younger crowd and did it in style. Funny thing though, they kept asking about why you fellas brought road race bikes to a dragrace-lol.

Is there any chance we can make this an annual event at the finals of the Cup Race for any SOHC members who might be interested in dragracing???? And that doesn't mean you have to bring a bike to race although it would be a plus.

Always that chance and a great idea. The guys that didn't go have no real way to known what they missed and they missed a lot! This is generally open time for me.

Did Bill make any more passes on the turbo?

Gotta finish packing and head to the airport. I'll be working on my Photobucket acct and will post more pics soon.

Forgot to mention that one of those Georgia deer decided to commit suicide by running into the side of my truck early this morning before we got to Interstate 95. Messed up the front fender and passenger door. It jammed the fender into the drivers door so it won't open. If anyone needs some fresh road kill just go down Georgia 84 towards Hinesville and it might still be laying there. What a bad way to end a great race weekend. Oh yeah, did i mention the cranshaft in my wifes dragbike twisted during the saturdays time run- ended her weekend.
