'76 CB550K and clubman's~stock cables work??

Quick question,

I have a 1976 CB550K and want to know if the stock cables will work with clubman handlebars.

They'll work, just not as well as some that have been shortened about an inch or more.

Expect stiffer controls.
Cables work smoothest when straight.  More and tighter bends introduce more friction.  Tie 'em in a knot and they hardly work at all!
