Anyone know where there are any pics of rice-o-rama 2009 hiding? I've found a few but I remember seeing some others, now I can't find them. Sorta like my keys. :-[

Did you go to the Rice-O-Rama website?  The pics are usually there.   I saw pics of the meet there, just because I was too busy vending to see most of the meet.  Unfortunately, that maybe my last time vending at that meet.  If you want to know my reasons why, you can send me a PM.

Some nice bikes there. Gives me chills thinking some of my bikes could look like those with the application of $.

I actually found it last week by dumb luck, the hard part was figuring out where it was...as it didn't show up on any search engines.
There's so much out there that can't be found the old fashioned way...

I was there but can't find my pics.  I rode the CB500 and almost didn't make it.  My ignition switch started flaking out on the ride down from NH, and when I got to Brookfield I lost the connection completely.  My mapquest directions to the show were terrible (the website actually had good directions) so I was wondering around the town while trying to keep the bike running.  Lots of jiggling.  Eventually I found the show and after I paid the admission, my switch flaked out again, so I literally rolled into the parking lot!
I looked around for a used or aftermarket switch, and somehow nobody had one.  One vendor said he  usually had Emgo switches but forgot them!  Luckily a group of nice guys, including one on a nice CB750, showed me how to hot wire the switch so I could keep it running.  So I rode home, a 3 hour, 130 mile ride home with the switch hanging off and two wired (red and black!) twisted together.  When I stopped for gas I untwisted them to turn the bike off!
I was too frazzled to ask the guys who helped me if I knew them from the forums.  Lucky they were there, though.  I wouldn't have known what wires to twist!
It was a great show and there was some nice riding around there.  I took a route through south western NH and it was great.  When I find my pictures I'll put a few up.

I was the guy with the nice CB750. Ben aka "azuredesign" was one of the other guys. Glad you got home OK ;)

Cool!  Well let me give you an SOHC THANK YOU!  I did make it home okay.  Besides the switch problem the bike ran beautifully the whole trip.  Did Ben have an airhead BMW?  I can't quite remember what the other two bikes were, yours was more memorable to me I guess!
Thanks again for your help, it was a godsend!
