Cool stuff! I can't say I'm quite "into" them, but I am helping a friend sell a few vintage mopeds from the 50's and early 60's.

Sold this one a couple weeks ago

Coolest thing I ever saw: I was walking down michigan ave. in Chicago a couple years ago when some vintage moped club came riding by. Must have been at least a hundred of them! All that sweet two stroke music and riders dressed like rockers. Coolest. Thing. Ever.

I know of and respect the Army, I've seen the swarm on Labor Day before. Why in the hell are there not gigantic gangs of young, hip kids on bikes with larger displacement? Maybe we can start a Michigan-based gang that is just that.

I have a 1971 Motobecane that I was given by the original owner.  It's sitting in my basement behind my furnace.  I figure I'll restore it (it's in great shape but I took it apart) for my daughter when she's old enough to ride it in 8 years from now.

Weird, I'm poking around autoblog, and watch this sweet video, and it looks to me like the original poster of this thread dabbles in film making and Honda AWD wagons. Cool stuff.

hey is been awhile  since i looked at this thread so i will answer some stuff

ZOO MOB i have been trying to start some vintage motorcycle club hear in grand rapids i know of about 7 of my friends that have vintage bikes we are getting something going for the spring, if you are ever in town im sure we will be up for a ride, and the WAGON ATTACK II video is the making of my 2 friends matt and luke, me and my car are at the end and #$%* no i dident sell my car i love that thing hondas is all i got

754 i would love to see any pics you have of your bikes, and what kinda racing did you do?

ffjmoore the eggs haha so at the rally in elkhart Indiana they had "competitions" signal races witch i won you can see in the video by alot felt pretty cool, double races witch i won by even more i did use my buddys girlfriend who is like 100lb but i woulda won with any 1 haha, a race ware you had to hold a spoon with a egg in it in your left hand and throttle with your right, a wheelie  competitions my buddy gabe won and totally trashed his rear fender, and a farthest jump witch my buddy joey cracked his frame in half on.

tintin get that bike going so you can ride it then pass it on

cbrace0012 yeah in fact i was just in austin texas with the group ACR great people and they have a bar called the Brixton cool little place check it out they always have some mopeds thar.

Sold the D52 This weekend. A guy from Milwaukee came to pick it up in a Peugeot 505 wagon (awesome!) and he's going to part it and ship it to the new owner in Portland.

Going to be putting this one up for sale soon on mopedarmy. It's and early 60's NSU Quickly N. Was partially disassembled but it looks like we have all the parts.
