i just sold my xs to finish my 500/4. I hard tailed it and wish i never did. It was a complete 77 standard, but me at the time didn't know how rare they are $:-\$ ....neat motor, but almost unbearable a highway speeds. have to dip the whole bike in loctite it vibrates so bad.

good ride, make sure you get the ECU and pipes with it right away. they drive so much nicer with no 02 sensor on them...And you have to have pipes on a desmo twin. My 07 that i traded on a 999 monoposto.

I still have a 68 bonnie sitting at my buddy's house that I was supposed to pick up 3 years ago, My wife has told me that will be my next project, for her of course, after my 750 is done, I don't know I will probably go cafe, but she loves the look of the ZERO engineering bikes so we shall see..

Some will say I'm off my rocker, but I'd like to have a Royal Enfield TT Interceptor (about a 66' model , or so) or a Norton Commando or BSA Spitfire Scrambler. I'll NEVER be able to swing any of those, so I'll settle for getting my Super Hawk project going/ getting my CB400F taken care of/ Put the finishing touches on my 80' CB650C AND getting the 77' CB750A dealt with as well.

In the meantime, as weather permits, I'll ride the CBX & GPZ1100 (although not as much as the CBX).

A former member of this forum let me ride his ST1300. Woah, that was nice. I think a Honda ST1100 or ST1300 would be great.

i think i'm about ready to abuse my wallet and psyche again in the next couple of years, this time i want the commando 750, i had an 850 back in the early 90's i finally decided to do something less painful so i sold the commando and started sticking toothpicks into my eyes

seriously though. i didnt have anywhere near the knowledge about motorcycles and electrics in particular then that i do now.

My next bike after i finish my 750, and my girlfriends 200t will be a 2 stroke of some sort. An H1 would be awesome, but probably will end up with an RD350 or 400.

I've also had the hankering to build a hardtail 550 bobber after seeing jreich's bike.

Probably just depend on what i find a deal on.

I'm hoping to find a Cb750 450 Twin for my wife. She loves the 69. But i'll go with a a early 70's. I have an extra 65 Black Bomber tank for it. That would make her smile.

In a fantasy world it would be a Bill Mize built Pan/Shovel chopper, el Forasteros style, W/a VL springer, 4 speed, etc.

But in reality, and considering my wallet, probably a shovel chopper in a wishbone frame with a sportster frontend. I'd like an affordable trad chopper for under $5k. When the time is right it will materialize.

Until then I'll enjoy riding my CB750 and wrenching on my BSA.

I am only tempted by another bike when my bike is not running properly. When I take time to work on my bike, there is no other bike that I want to ride.

That being said, my next bike will always be a properly running 1975 CB550K.

Wanting another bike = get off my ass and fix my own bike.
