Blizzard Conditions...WI
« on: December 09, 2009, 06:39:58 AM »
Well, snow started yesterday afternoon and this morning we are at 9.5 inches here and it is still coming down fast. We have blizzard warnings out and the Gov has declared a state of emergency...whatever that means. I don't think it means the state will shovel my driveway.  ;D Everything is closed even the colleges and hardly ever close with most of the kids living on campus anyway. All total we are in the 12-15 inch range by the time it is suppose to end tonight.

So guys, one of the joys of winter, throw another log on the fire, get out the fixings for hot buttered Rum, pick up a book you've been meaning to read, sit down and mellow out.

Johnie: Nice bike pic. Does the remote control start the engine and shift?

Lots of blowing and snow and rain here near Toronto. Accumulation is only about 4 inches, but it seems much worse. Wet, sticky and heavy. More tomorrow. Guess I won't be riding again for a while (try April....)

Glad we could send that to you from cold Colorado. Got down to -20oF last night with some winds of 30-40mph. Not sure what the wind chill ended up being but it was damn cold when I filled up the car at 8pm.
