I once asked a former neighbor who was a cop if he dreamed of being a cop when he was a kid, when he said yes I asked him if he thought he'd be catching bad guys....or....

Take a paintball gun and tag his car.   ;D

Bring a brick and tag his windshield when he stops (est. value -- $200 in real $$$).  Let him call the cops then.

I had a guy do a hit and run on my truck one night ($2000 worth).  Cops were no help, just told me to file a report.  It took me a month to find out who it was.  I gave them the guys name and plate #.  By then the cops said it was too late and they couldn't do anything.  Said I would have to take him to court, but I couldn't afford that.  Someone committed a crime and I was driving around in the evidence, but the doughnut eaters didn't care.

The point was, deadbound, that the car is easily trackable and you're not really endangering lives.
But, ya... I'd probably chuck a brick while I was at it too.   ;D

Why does it not suprise me how hard it is for the law do anything.
it seems they're more concerned with enforcing traffic laws than other crimes.

So much for "To serve and protect" eh?

Like I said before, whatever you do, be careful, because the guy is probably prepared for the time when someone discovers the fake money, and his preparations for this event probably involves a sucker punch and a foot race.

WOW! FBI couldn't care a less "actually quite rude" on the phone

Secret Service in Arizona has gone home for the day, but "California Office said" if you can put the guy off for a day and called 602-640-5580 tomorrow, they would get involved.

Interesting Law enforcement you guys have, about as useless as ours

Fake $ falls under the Dept of Treasury and the Secert Service. FBI would be stepping on toes if they were to get involved uninvited.

So he never called back, probably found someone else to rob. I am going to leave the ad up just in case so we will see.

Thanks for the safety concerns and I think I found the REAL lesson in this mess.
