sprocket sizes - searched and search with no luck '77 F2

I'm trying to find out how many teeth the stock sprockets for my '77 F2 had and what to use for a 530 chain conversion. I've Googled, searched here, looked at the Honda manual etc. with no luck. I've heard that the 530 conversion is more inexpensive and wanted to do that since $$ is REAL tight and my chain is shot. I've researched the 630 to 530 conversion and I'm not really doing it for power reasons. Gear ratios and whatnot are over my head at this point, so i just wanted to do a 530 conversion to match the stock set up, but any suggestions would be fine. Thanks

   Original sizes are 14 and 43. Haven't done the conversion so I'm no help there though there have been plenty of posts about it.

 Although we were talking about gearing for a 550, I quoted my 750F2 ratios.

ASsuming the 14/43 is the stock setup, that ratio is 3.07. A 16/48 (for the 530 chain) yileds a 3.0 ratio. about as close as you'll come. And common size sprockets.

Do the 530 sprockets bolt right up or are there spacing issues?

That is something that I hadn't even considered. I ASSumed it was just a bolt on and go thing. Anyone have any input? Do you have to use offset sprockets? I'm going to search about chain conversions.

I think I'd read that the rear has to be spaced out a tad as it is a narrower sprocket. Can probably be done with flat washers. No info on the front, but it is the defining sprocket. Where it goes (likely a little to the left as it is a narrower sprocket and the keeper will draw it over), the rear must follow to line up.

not sure if the middle section of the sprocket is narrower.But the F2 has as keeper just a big washer and is just bolted to the shaft with a center bolt. So it would not pull the sprocket over. If there is a gap, which I don't know, you might need to find a spacer to cover it.
Dynoman Performance, by the way, did in the past carry complete conversion kits, ready to bolt on for your F2.http://www.dynoman.net/ . Doesn't show them any more on the page. Maybe just contact them. Nice guys.
