New to the forum and trying to upload my own photo as an avatar. I can choose it (40K) from my desktop, but it doesn't appear. Any tips? Thanks.

Get microsoft powertoys image resizer if you're using windows.

Thanks but using Mac. I have no problem resizing the pic in Photoshop, just don't know what the limits are on pixels, files size.

Looks like the pixel dimension limits are around 120x120.

Thank you. That was the trick. And saving for web which got the file size down to 5K.

And all Mac people do need help.

Ironic that all my IT guys have iPhones though.

I click {I have my own pic} and use a link from my photobucket. doesn't matter the size then.
