Did anyone ever figure out if a 750 rear wheel fits the 550?

Well the 750 spoke hub fit mine so well I was not aware it was from a 750 until I went looking..

Hope that helps? Just don't know if Lesters are the same.

The wheels are for a CB750......closest you can find.  Hope like hell the spacing is the same.  From the pics, it looks like my brake plate would work.  Hell, it could be a 550 wheel, and the seller dosen't know.  Not sure if it will be mine, as another bidder seems to really want them.  I want them, but there are limits to which I am willing to spend.

My lester's and my hayashi'sboth use the stock CB750K brake backing plate. So If you fit a 750 hub in a 550 swingarm then all should be well! So 50s use 19/17" wheels? My Lester's are 16 rear and 19 front. My hayashi's are stock 750 F and R.

550's use a 19" front and an 18" rear wheel.

The Lester is an 18" rear....and the pics with the brake plate....it "looks" like a 550 plate.

Again.....they're not mine yet.

Hyashi rim????  How rare is that!

I bought a whole bike to get the Hayashi's...lol. Iam not sure the S/O has seen the humor in that investment yet...

Ok......

I have some Lester mags now.  The rear is an 18" with a 550 hub.  All the ones I normally see are 16" with the 750 hub.  So, basically I believe this is a VERY rare wheel to find.  Think about it.  These wheels were so expensive when new, and most who bought a 550 bought it, because it was cheaper than a 750....so who is going to buy a 550 and then drop all that money on wheels, when you could just buy a 750??

The front wheel is a 19".  Yes, they cost a fortune, and NO, I don't want to talk about it. :'(

The Tank, Seat, and Wheels have cost a ton, but had to be done, so that I could really have the bike I wanted.

I am VERY happy and pleased that I finally found the set I had been lusting after!

will you'll need to change out that sprocket? if I remember correctly the 550 sprocket is much smaller.

good job was watching those wheels but after the price DOUBLED in the last 5 min just had to let you have them enjoy your 1000 dollar wheels....

Nice wheels Joe, don't sweat the few.. Any chance you want to sell your rear axle? Turns out mine is too small for my bike, never noticed it before.. I knew the rear was a bit sloppy but figured it was the bearings or the bushings on the swing arm..

Any way its going to look awesome at any cost.

Who cares what you paid for those wheels, i have 10K in my bike and its still in boxes. I am building what i want and will spend what i want to complete it... Nice wheels Traveler..
