my neighbor just dropped this off to me

a late Christmas present for me. he went up to Charlotte to see his folks for the day and he found this up in their attic, it's a Hondo and he says he got this for Christmas back in the mid-late 70's. it's a heavy beast, just like a real one. good sounding electrics too.

this is one i think i'm going to keep. it has super nice action and the electrics sound really nice. once i get both of my 12 strings (acoustic and an electric) sold i think i'll be about set, except for me possibly getting a squier jagmaster. i finally have a collection that i really enjoy playing.

Hi Buck {naked}y,  ;)

I am not certain about that guitar but the best Hondo's, and there were some good ones, were made by Tokai in Japan. If you ever get the urge to take the front pickup out, take a pic of the neck joint and routing patern in the cavity and post it here, Tokai have used the same route paterns on their LP's for 30+ years which makes the ones they made easy to identify..I have 2 Honduras mahogany Tokai's that are Gibson killers, great guitars..

nice, hondo made some good quality guitars, I've got a strat 1980, that plays just as well as my neighbors  fender 57.
