Topic: what's it worth?

Newbie here. Names Mike. Live in Tn. Looking at a 1981 CB 650 Custom with approx. 13k. Bike is in decent shape considering it's 29 years old. Good tires, smokes a little on start up and has an oil leak on the left outer most cylinder head. Tank has no rust. Runs and shifts good. Has the tool kit and owners manual. Owner is asking $1150. What do you guys think?

Decent shape with a head gasket leak is not worth anywhere near that kind of coin.  The seller obviously has an inflated idea of the bikes worth.

+1 on that....everyone thinks they have a valuable classic and wants top buck for it these days
