I can't reply to Jason's PM so I am posting it here.  MB Full seems to be becoming common lately.

Hi,
You seem like a local expert around here, so I have a quick question.
I am working on a 73 CB750K. I am thinking about placing shorty shocks (11 inches) on the rear of my bike and some superbars on the front. Do you think there will be enough clearance with the bars if I raise the fork tubes up through triple tree about an inch and a half, or is it safer for me to get shorter tubes?
Thanks,
Jason

Haha, thanks for the compliment.  This really depends on the bar and the position the bar is in when in the upper tree.  Currently, they are almost touching the bar and that bar would stop them from going further.  If I twist them down a bit, they might slide past, not sure.

The old tubes were thrashed (rust) under the headlight ears so I replaced them but also went with shorter cyclex tubes at the same time.

After you get the bars on there, you can check it to see if it will work and works for you.

I do not think there is a safety factor going either way other than the bike design has changed, so does how it will ride.  But either way, they should both be the same change.

The other part to watch is the front fender or tire hitting the header on a bump.  I added 15wt fork oil.  So far so good.  But, I am down about 3 inches.

Hope this helps,
Rick
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.
