my opinion is that that thing looks like ass. if he took 4 thousand off the price i might consider it.
Of all God's creatures there is only one that cannot be made the slave of the lash. That one is the cat. If man could be crossed with the cat it would improve man, but it would deteriorate the cat.

Yeah, it can't be a Cafe Racer if the discs aren't drilled, that's just crazy! ;D

Ha ha, what a pile, looks like one of Carpy's early beaters, a mix of 1970's era chopper parts (16 inch "Hog" wheel and drag pipes, for example) mixed with the obligatory "clubman" (yawn) bars and single seat, with the back wheel hanging out there in the breeze, just awful.

I particularly like the welded up rear end, (who needs shocks anyway?) and the comment "built by Brickey Customs" interested me, I did a web search but couldn't find a reference? I'm wondering if the seller is also the proprieter? If he is, I don't expect to see him on "Biker Build off" anytime soon............. :-\
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

I didn't know you could do a ground up restoration of a Cafe racer. I always though you built a custom Cafe racer.

While I certainly wouldn't pay that much for it, the reality is that something is worth what somebody will pay for it. And we all know the saying... there's a sucker born every minute. This guy only needs one to validate his price.

All kidding aside...I'd drive it around.... not crazy about the sans-rear suspension.  But that may just be somebody elses cup-O-saucy jam. (our roads around here will give you a hernia in a car WITH suspension)  So prop's off to you for building it man!  The pictures are small and blurry...but it looks like you put lotsa heart into it! On that note...a Big congrats if you get what you're asking.

I kid, I kid! It's not mine. The only 750 I've got is a Sabre.

Yeah, the asking price is a bit high, it seems.

Yeah. Clear title just means that the seller owns it "free and clear" or 100%. In other words, no financial institution has a claim or right to the bike.

As far as sending the link... the deeds been done. I feel evil, but entertained...

LOL so did I!

From the pics, it looks to be inside a shop. Maybe its an overpriced dealer trying to get top dollar for a low dollar bike.

I don't think it looks like crap. It needs a few things to be ridden I think. Rearsets for one, a legal exhaust depending on where you live.

But for 5000 it better do more than just let me ride it  ;)

It also needs a new rear end design.  If you notice, it is nothing more than struts from the stock swing arm to mid way up the rear down tube. One good bump and that down tube bends or breaks.

and if it does decide to bend.... that tire is gonna eat that seat, with someones arse on it. i couldnt imagine a fiberglass bumpstop exploding that close to my manhood. if its metal.... god, the horrible possibilities. can we say colostomy bag, to go with the roids that flared beyond belief due to a hard tail and a inch of foam. eeek.

This bike is a hot mess. Low bars with stock foot controls! A DAMN HARDTAIL! Who is he racing with that? I dont want to talk too much #$%* on the guy, as he could be a really cool dude, but man... This is what kills me about the new cafe racer trend. Most of the guys building (and I use that term loosely) the bikes arent concerned with actual performance at all. Just looking cool. Its the same crap you saw when everyone had to own a chopper or bobber. Its a waste of a good frame. Id give that bike 10 min before it fell apart on a normal road, not to mention any twisties. Imagine goin low into a tight left hander, and having those downtubes and swingarm twist up like a pretzel. Goodbye bike, and maybe much worse...
