It's hardly a serious Trials machine, not even close. The bike was never a serious Trials bike......

I worked for Leslie Griffith's Motors, they were a SILK dealer around 1979~80 (the updated Scott)
 Never got to ride one though  :(

   I acquired a Yamaha 350 trials a while back, that needed engine rebuilt, but another fellow wanted it and bought it before I was able to do anything with it. Looked to be quite a piece of work. Light and agile looking, with a monoshock as well. I think it was an 85' model.

    My buddy that I got the CBX from, has a Suzuki 250 trials and ITZ sems to be a pretty cool little bike.

I raced my RD250 against the factory 600 proddy bike back in 74, the Silk never stood a chance. :D :D :D :D

Had a few Trials bikes.........the TL125 actually works!  The TL250 is a very agile TRAIL bike but way to heavy for trials competition. The late 80s TLR200 is street legal in many states and is a great trail bike. Vintage Trials is a hoot! I am working on a Triumph T20 short-tracker but just picked up a line on a pair of high-pipe Cubs that also work well for vintage trials.

 Hi Sam, yep,
 Ewenny Road Bridgend.
Honda, Yamaha,Triumph and MZ  :D.
Jubilee Bonneville was 'interesting'  ;)
 Triumph went belly up and we got SILK, don't remember exact time frame, wasn't important at the time   ;D
 I moved 'across the street' to Two Wheel Services, Suzuki, BMW, and, Vespa  (and later 'new' Triumph, Suzuki, Yamaha, Ducati)
