I am needing info on the hardware plating. Is it cad, zink, or tin ? Where is a good place to send it. What about the politically correct tires ? I appreciate any help.

Welcome Cliff...I see this is your first post. I am not sure where you are located but I have a chromer here in WI that is excellent. You would be best to try to find a chromer / plater local so you can save on shipping cost. If not, let me know and I can hook you up with my guy. He has done 3 750's for me. As far as tires it would depend on your restore. Are you restoring to original, cafe, or just to ride it. I restored mine to look as close to original and I put on Continental K112's. I think Dunlop has a tire look from that era too. As far as the plating, I think you may be looking for zinc. Unless the bolts are real bad I was able to clean most of mine up on the wire wheel. Post some pics if you get a chance.

Sorry for getting back so late, getting caught up on those hunnie dues. I live in Blessing Tex. thats 85 miles south of Houston. I have been working on the 75 for about a year. I have stripped primed and painted frame hung a re-pro wiring harness with most of the electrict's, volt, reg ect. Polished rear wheel and laced with new spokes. Sending off chrome, hardware next week hopefully. I'll send pictures later, thanks for the info.
