Hi.

I stripped down the engine and now the engine cases are ready for blasting / painting etc.
liking to keep it as original as possible, I noticed that only the top engine case is painted, plus all side covers.
Does that mean that the lower engine case is not painted at all ?, or is there clear coat on it ?

Hi Camelman and Fasturd and others,

I thought about the oil pump modification, and I decided to try it. Read my thread in the project shop for further comments http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=65233.25

The the document how to do this is not very detailed about the machining. Does anyone on the forum has experience with this modification (first hand) ?

But before starting this process I need a nice set of oil pump rotors from a CB750 K. Does anyone have a source for a nice set of CB750 K oil pump rotors ? Or would anyone sell me a nice set ?

This is unrelated to your current problems, but I noticed you were looking for the glue for the airbox-to-carb rubbers. I don't know what the original glue was, but it appears identical to Pliobond rubber cement. It's good stuff -- tough, flexible, and sticks like hell to everything.

Hi,

I tried it, and I can say it works, it does hold everything together for the last half year, thanks.
