1999 Nissan Frontier.

Hey guys, one of these for sale locally, low kilometres.  Anyone here have any experience with these?  Good or bad?

I was pretty happy with the Nissan I owned. I can't give you any specific info but I'd be willing to bet that as long as it was well maintained and not abused it would be a good buy. Try google, you should be able to find consumer reviews and common problems with a little research.

any of the japanese built compact trucks seem to be pretty reliable as long as theyre maintained.

I have a Nissan Hardbody (became the frontier) 1996 and I have about 235K on it.

I had to swap out a transmission out and change some calipers on the front a couple of times but otherwise a great truck.

Worth the money if you can't afford a Tacoma.

Thanks for the input guys.  The truck seems to be in really good shape.  I'll have to do a little more research though.

The 4cylinder models are great. The KA24DE is an indestructable motor. 240sx guys boost them all the time on stock internals.

Not so sure on the v6, but i've heard stories of 350+k on the original 4 bangers.

This one is the 3.3l 6cyl.  Read good things about them so far.
