Rubber plugs under cam holders
« on: February 28, 2010, 06:45:53 AM »
Hi there. wondering about those plugs (4) under the cam holders. I've got mine apart (1970 cb750K0). I found one really old thread about these. I can't seem to find a part number for the plugs. someone posted this a long time ago, but for a different engine I think.
Yes, they are still available, though spendy, part number 12115-300-000 I think.  I just bought some.  In my view the aftermarket kits have poor quality rubber items.

Does anyone know if they're still available? I can't find a part number for them and wondered if they were included in the entire cam holder. (which doesn't seem to be available from Honda?)
Mine look to be in ok shape, although probably pretty hard. Thanks, John

I'm confused.  The part number you called out goes between the cylinder and the head and there should be 8 of them and they are used on later motors K3 and later I think.  They are not used on a K0 motor.  Are you talking about the sealing rubbers 91318-300-013?  They are the solid rubber (no hole) disks that go under the cam holders but there are six of them.  Those are still available and come with gasket kits too.  There are plenty of posts about this.
