Why the #^$% are K3-6 left side controls so scarce???

I don't get it.
New OEM left side turn/horn controls for K0-1 are easy to find but the ones for K3-6 are nowhere to be found!
They made like 6x10^23 more later Ks than 0-1s, right?
So shouldn't parts for the bikes that were made in smaller quantities, for fewer years be more difficult to find???

 ???

If you don't mind replicas. This place sells replicas:

I ordered a set from David Silver Spares. I'm pretty sure this is their source. Look good, and I think the plastic will be more durable than the fiberglass that the originals where made from. The other good thing is they are WAY less expensive than I've seen originals go for on ebay.

What are they worth, or what are you willing to pay?
I know I should have some, but am reluctant to sell all my original parts that I may need later.

Maybe, do you just need the guts inside?

wow, read "side" and jumped to conclusions. Sorry. The left side covers are also a pain.
