guess who had a minor accident today?
« on: March 15, 2010, 04:41:31 PM »
i was pulling into the driveway after a ride and i hit the sand that the yard waste pickup guys pull out of my pit every time they pick stuff up. i lowsided it at about 15mph. my leg/hip kept the gas tank and side cover safe but the muffler caught and pulled the collector off of 2 of the primary pipes and creased the #4 primary as well. just a couple of small bruises and a nasty attitude are all i got from the dumbass move i made.  :D

Dang Buck that is a bummer. That sand is bad stuff as are the wet leaves. I hope you mend fast. I know you will get the bike good as new.

If all of our accidents happen at low speed and result in a small amount of damage to us and the bike, we are truly blessed. Heal quick.

Sand and wet leaves, I almost bit it on some wet leaves when I first bought my bike.

My cat-like reflexes kept me upright though. :o
