Wow. Thanks, guys.  I'm stunned.  Really!
I honestly didn't think a non-cafe entry had much of a chance, judging by the predominance of the banter in the forums.
But you know, I WAS tempted to submit another picture of my bike with POD filters pushed onto the bar ends and foot pegs.
But, I'm not sure it would have been received as humorously as intended, to all viewers.  I still chuckle to myself at the concept, tho.

Thanks to all that voted!

There was certainly a lot of nice work done to all the other entries.  I hope they find miles under them in the years to come.

Cheers!

these are all pretty awesome.

I kinda like cornan's bike best, I think. they are all great. but for me I appreciate craftsmanship, creativity, utility and DIYness.

I can't afford to just buy all the parts I want, put them together into a superbike. and restorations are $$$, besides the painting by number aspect. don't get me wrong, I would love to do a period correct restoration some day, when I have more dough. or soup up the engine with spendy aftermarket stuff.

but the fact that he improved on the bikes performance and looks so much without separating from $$$ that could go to feed baby lions starving in Timbuktu. and it's completely original. I like to see a bike that reflects the owners personality and shows that he/she has a vision of their own. there are plenty of followers, only a few trailblazers. even then it's pretty hard to be original when everything's been done.

the creativity mixed with the stinginess, he's a man after my own heart...

that said every bike here is pretty ba-dass.

oops, this is not current. oh, well. I'll find this months...
