while the rotor lock is a great way for a theft deterrent, if someone really wants your bike, they'll get it no matter what. unfortunately, i call myself an acquaintance of someone that is in jail for stealing bikes... cables in the wheels/sprocket, disc locks, triple tree locks, there was nothing that worked to keep your bike safe. the main thing that did deter him was an inconvenience factor, just like most thief's. a simple disc or sprocket lock is a simple and cheap way of keeping a would be thief from stealing you bike. also, parking it in a well lit and public area, like the front of a restaurant, bar or movie theater is another good idea. luckily we have lady WEIGHT on our side with these old girls, so simply picking one up or pushing it into the ramp of a pickup truck isn't nearly as easy. also, these bikes aren't super valuable like a newer crotch rocket is.
either way, very good video!!! disc locks and hidden kill switches are a must!!
