Like your style Crash - the lines flow nice on the bike. I'm not a fan of the stealth gauges on a practical side but they sure as hell look cool. They must be about as vague as the dayglo lines stuck at mph readings on my kmh speedo!  ;D

Tank is kinda neat too - very like the Starboyz cloth covered streetfighter stunt style and it works.

Keep up the build buddy - whatever anyone else says, sober or drunk, it's your bike, your vision, your goal and it's in your world.  Anyone else's opinions are just that - their opinion and you can choose to agree, disagree or ignore it. Make your choice count - stick to the project and keep making progress. Good luck!!  ;)

I was asking myself the same thing! A Colored Alum. sprocket would be righteous!...I couldn't find any for the 630 chain series...but if you did the conversion over to the 530...I bet it'd be a lot easier to tack down!?...I'll do a quick search, and if I find something I'll post it!

I love your work man! Unique, personal and custom! Keep up the good stuff...and keep us updated!!  Don't get bogged down by any broken man's malicious comments.

TO SARAH!  CHEERS!!!

HOLY CRAP!  My gut feeling is that my budget will be creeping up in the near future...

These guys offer ALUM. sprockets in MANY Tooth configs for the 630 series chain (30-52 Rears!)...matched to our bikes
And you have many options!...color choice, standard alum, 41 Tooth sproket (stock rear) runs around $123

http://www.sprocketspecialists.com

Products ->Sprockets ->Standard Aluminum Alloy Rear Sprockets ->Select Honda From Pick down menu ->Pick your bike off the list ->Pick the teeth # you want -> Add to cart -> check off the options you want (Titan Tough, Hot Slots, Ultra lite "extra holes", Color and polish options).... TOO COOL!

AWESOME man!!  I'm glad I searched again! Excellent!

That is a hard choice, I think I would lean to the Midnight blue and silver my self, however I don't think you can go wrong either way. So perhaps flipping a coin would make it easier..

I'm not sure what the ABSOLUTE best type of bit is..... but I was told to go with COBALT bits for drilling stainless steel.
They cut thru it like butter with a slow speed, firm pressure and a lot of ATF for lubrication/cutting fluid.  I went thru my whole rotor with a pilot bit (1/8") then the full size(9/32")....54 holes...and the bits showed no signs of dullness at all.

Hey 77 did you look into doing the gauges with printed numbers yet or are you gonna stick with what you got for now... and 4 my 2 cents they look bad ass on your build thread for them.  I personally would just clean the numbers up a bit, maybe add a few hash marks.  But unlike some others their yours and you like them so each their own.  The idea was original and pretty cool.  BTW what did you use on the tank is that a kinda decal?  Doesn't really go now (mostly stock bike) but I think I see where u are going here and it should match the rest when its done.  Also your trying to mount comstars right?  I have the a spare fork setup for those with the comestar style mounting and a spare rotor.... maybe we can work something out.  (off a 79 or 80 750 I think they are).  Let me know.  And from one "immature young punk" to another traveler was way out of line.  (seriously come onto someone Else's thread call his work crap and playing around and then call him names  ???)

no the gas tank was wrapped in an old blacke dress i found at a second hand store the i liked the pattern and since the PO did such a lovely bondo job on my tank i figured it would work until i could find another tank wich took much longer then i thought that it would comstars are out the door now i gonna be running lester mags after i get them cleaned and painted i am working on some new gauge face but they are still gonna be black and completely smooth... for the Record my gauges are lit through the face the numbers light up when ever i turn the ignition on my camera just wont pic it up they are very easy to read i wish my camera was better

Lesters?  Nice so much for a budget build though lol.  I couldn't tell from the pic very well.  I love the blacked out gauges btw.  And yea I know you got a decent pic on the build thread for them awhile back, we talked about it back and forth a bit I suggested to use the small vinyl stickers to make the numbers remember.  Still think the look is bad ass.
