Thanks, I got my magnifying glass out and those are 45F9. Maybe that's why the idle screws are out 1 3/4 turns, should they be around 1 turn with 50F9? The chrome on the top plates is gnarly, mostly gone except under the hanger brackets. I may sand or scrape on it a little and see what happens. I ordered some cheap gaskets off ebay just to get the carb base and the top to air filter gaskets and a sheet of fine uni filter media.
The parts that remove easy will get a bath in the ultrasonic. Then I'll spray and blow them clean, there's no gunk at all but they have a little gritty feel, like they were nearby when the manifold was blasted. I'm not sure I'm ready to go whole hog cleaning them.
