350 exhausts
« on: April 02, 2010, 06:18:38 AM »
When I got my basket case it came with a set of old exhausts. One of these is in great shape and polished up to a very high shine with almost no pitting. However the other is a wreck. So I was wondering if any of you could identify this muffler as it has no name on it. I would like to buy another one if possible, so if any of you have one I'll make you a fair price.

why I'm not going to use the other one

I think it will look pretty good on the bike until I can afford a set of repro 4 to 4's

Do it! Bar-B-Que black!

My jaradine sounds so good - they just don't fit the look of the bike.  I would like something that fits like the 400f - just a single exhaust.  The sound of my bike gets me compliments all the time.  It just doesn't fit the cafe racer look.

I had a friend look into getting a yoshi pipe from Japan.  It was in the 1200+ range for a 350-400 exhaust.  My bike is worth a lot to me, just not that much.

Black would be cool. Just make sure to prep the surface.

I continually drag my Jardines on the ground.  So far, I've ground through a few spots of chrome and dented in one of the tubes.  If you are planning to ride that bike hard in the turns, then make sure you adjust the rear of the bike up a bit.  Otherwise you'll have the same clearance issues I have.
