that so reminds me of a time I was riding my bicycle to work.
10 mi ride and though there was a little frost on the road, and some snow, I hadn't had any problems in the first 8 miles.  I come to an intersection with a metal drain grate and the whole bike just slides out from under me.  I hit the road and reach for the curb because I knew there was a car behind me.  I managed to drag myself and the bike close enough to the curb that the lady in the jeep behind me missed me, but it was durn close.

I stand up and grab my bike, and realize there's a school bus at the next street in the intersection and the back 4 windows are all down and the monkeys in the back are all pointing and laughing.
>:(
Some peoples kids.  That jeep was a foot from my pelvis. I cussed out those little a-holes and went on my way, but I still get mad when I think about that.

I've been egged and had rocks thrown at me while riding around the city, always by little kids, so it never bothered me too much.  Hopefully they'll grow up to be good people.  Though on the other hand, they might just grow up to be like the folks in my story...

As I was riding home from work (at night in January) it started to snow.  Since I only about 10 miles to go I figured what the heck, I'll probably make it before the snow really sticks to the road, but of course within a few miles it HAD started to stick.  I just reduced speed and carried on.  Soon it was so bad that I was riding below 10 mph with my feet out as skis.  About 5 blocks away from home I took a turn too fast, dumping the bike and gently sliding into a car.  Nothing was damaged, but I couldn't get enough traction to pick the bike up.  Thankfully, two guys were leaving the corner bar and noticed me struggling and slipping in the intersection.  I yelled out, asking if one of them could please help me.  They looked at me, then at each other, burst out laughing and said "no."  Then they walked away, still laughing and berating me for riding a motorcycle in the snow.

Eventually I got the bike upright and carried on.  That was years ago, but whenever I think of those two jackasses I still want to wring their necks.

in Oakland and SF crack heads have been breaking spark plugs out of moto engines causing lots of damage to bikes. to use them as crack pipes.

what kind of pathetic crack head doesn't have a pipe? I'm a painter so I have a spray gun, brushes, etc. if I was a crackhead I would have a crack pipe, brillo, etc.

Had a incident back in the late 70`s. I was just cruising along happily on my Bonnie and noticed a pickup coming up on me in my blurry mirrors. As the truck was starting to pass me I heard them hootin and holerin and thought they liked the bike. As soon as they got in front of me in the passing lane, the guy on the passenger side fired a full can of beer at me. It hit me in the chest and I damned near went down. By the time I recovered I sped up and couldn`t find the sick bastards anywhere. Looking back I`m glad I didn`t find them.

This is why a flare gun is so useful.  They chuck a pebble at you, you fire a ball of fire at them.

I was riding down I5 in Tacoma, WA. in 98. I had 3 #$%*tard white trash fools pull next to me in my lain and started waving a paint ball gun out the window. I braked so they would pass and I could get behind. They opened up with the paintball gun and taged me a few times and they hit their brakes. One of the balls broke on my visor and got my face so I pulled to side of the freeway hoping they would keep going. They did not. They pulled over as well and I think they wanted to fight. Lucky me, before I made up my mind to either run or to pull my gun a Tacoma Cop pulled in right between us and he was a friend of my Dad's.  Someone called them and he was right down town. This was all on a sunday morning... People suck
Yep, i have issues with this sort of stuff.
