1977 Honda CB750 bobber build!

Gave $400 dollars for the hideous blue 750. Here are some in process pictures of the build. Tank is of a 1972 Harley Aermacchi Rapido 125 and gave more for the cap than I did the tank. Air cleaner is the original four into one exhaust header than came on the bike. Long story short I did everything you see but mount the tires!

Got it ridable and rode for two or three months before breaking it down to paint and powder coat.

Cool ideas!  Love the use of the 4-1 header and the old Aermicchi tank.

Tell us about the seat.  It's nice, too.

Seat came off ebay and I don't even remember who made it. I just liked it.

Now heres the junky little shop it came out of and the results of its first show at the "2010 Spring Thaw" in Shelbyville, TN a couple of weeks ago. 1st place int the metric custom class.

That, sir, is May 2010 BOTM material!  I'm partial to the cafes, but I'm totally diggin' your bobber.  The diamond plate used throughout is rockin'.

I enjoy seeing your progress!  great work and good luck with the Horse.

Did you build the rear ridgid frame yourself.  that is the style frame i want and i want to extend it 2-3inches, just not sure where to start.  Any advice would be great.
