I'm swapping on an aluminum rim from a GL1000 to the rear hub of my CB750K5. I thought I was going to have to buy spokes from Buchanan's but doing a little research I find that the GL1000 and CB750a share the same part numbers for the spokes on cmsnl

1976 CB750a
42606393700
SPOKE,BS 8X125

42607393700
SPOKE, BS 8X123.5

1976 GL1000 Goldwing
42606393700
SPOKE,BS 8X125

42607393700
SPOKE, BS 8X123.5

The hubs for the A and K models are close cousins it seems
42601300040
42601300050

There's talk that a CB750a rear rim and hub is a direct bolton for the K models and a quick measurement tells me the GL and K5 hubs are the same width overall with the GL being slighty thinner than the K standing on end.

Does this mean I can lace up my K hub to the GL rim using the spokes from the GL? That'll save me a bunch of cash if so.

Thanks for any info!

Your in the spotlight 8) If you look a little further in the parts finder..........you will see that the brake-shoes (liners) are also the same.  I have already made this switch........with used spokes I like to use little brass washers on the tire side of the rim to add strength to the dimples. After you have a few hundred miles on the wheels be sure to check for any loose spokes.
