cb400f main bearings
« on: April 21, 2010, 02:50:14 PM »
Im doing an engine rebuild on my 400/4. Can you guys give me any advice on main bearing sizing. I did the measurements of the main bearing seats and the journals and picked out the appropriate sizes. B D E E D in that order from left to right. Today I have been looking online for these bearings and it looks like only B C and E sizes are available.  Are more sizes available? And from where? Can I use a different size than the ones i measured for? I could substitute E or C for the D size i cant find, but which one?
I appreciate any help you guys can offer me on this subject. Thanks.

Check with CB350F_Dave.  He just went through all of this, and probably found all of the suppliers necessary.
