Need help: DOHC750 valve adjuster tool...
« on: April 26, 2010, 09:18:11 PM »
Does anyone here have one of the Valve Lifter Tools for the DOHC750 that I could borrow, or you could possibly trace so I can make one?

It consists of 2 pieces. One is a short rod that gets set between two paired valves, for the rocker tool to push against and open the springs, to let you slip out the shims.

I'm trying to tune up a friend's DOHC, and it has some tight valves. I really don't want to do it Kawasaki-style, by removing the cams, as these are a PITA to put back in...  :-\

Sorry Mark, I've got a DOHC 750, but no tool. Gonna be in the same boat, IF and WHEN I need to do a valve adjustment myself. Wish I DID though. :-\
