Go for it...if you don't think the side cart looks cool...make it cool.  Have you guys seen the show "Pimp My Ride"? If they can make a junker look cool, then a side cart can be done too.

I would love to have a side car rig. I would like to be able to take my dogs to the park without having to drive my truck. Same with grocery and such.

It definitely would not be the daily commuter, just for when i needed to haul a little more than a backpack and rack will hold.

Now putting a female passenger in a sidecar? That is just plain lame. Hot girls belong holding on to you, not sitting next to you.

Nothin cooler than a girl working on getting rid of her front tanlines in a sidecar.. try telling me that is as enjoyable on a 2 wheeler..

and theres other stuff they can do from a sidecar... but sidecar guys already know this..... ;)   ;D

CRAP!  Looks like the sidecar gods have shunned me.  The guy won't answer the phone and pulled his add.  I was so ready to pull the trigger.

goaarongo, I agree that trikes are lame.  There's no good place to mount a machine gun and ammo can.

NICE!! ^__^ b

It even has loudspeakers for blasting rock'n'roll when they're rock'n'rollin'. Just needs some smoke dischargers and they're set

When I was little, my neighbour had a WW2 made German civilian issue black BMW motorcycle with a matching sidecar. It was the coolest thing I saw at the time. With beautiful gauges, chrome detail, leather, and wood paneling.
I never saw the guy ride it, but he idled it between regular cleaning, waxing and polishing regime.

I don't remember the model now, but it looked like these but with more detail.

IMHO, i'm not into anything that takes away form the 2 WHEEL experience, no sidecars, no trikes, no MP3's, no rexes,
etc.

Not dead, but mostly dead  :-\

Yes, the first one was Aussie, the sequels were US productions.

Do it as a father / son thing.  that's all the reason you need right there.

Racing sidecars are cool all the others suck.

Well, well, well... turns out the guy's phone died.  My dad and I checked it out last night, trailered it home this morning. '78 55K with 6700 miles and Velorex sidecar.  This bugger even has a car battery and built-in trickle charger stowed in the back of the car.

We're in the club.

A lady never tells.  It's not a show stopper, exhaust has a tiny leak at the bend before mufflers but a solid original bike otherwise.  Just odds and ends.  But let me tell you, having a bike that runs on a car battery is a very cool thing all by itself.

I saw this at a motorcycle show.  Looks like it might be for a handicapped rider, but this guy wasn't handicapped, so I have no idea what he is into. I'm pretty sure this rig is a FIVE seater!

They even fit them to old Police bikes!

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

I've been thinking about hacking my 750k2 - I think it would be awesome! but I have more than 1 bike to ride. it would be something cool for variety. I'm thinking a boat nose like the one on the minitrail with a duvall windshield. the way I see it I'm doing it for me & everybody that doesn't like it kiss my  (*)
