Topic: i need 4 2" baffles to fit into my 4 into 4

i have a set of 4 into 4 exhaust from a 1978 cb750k but the baffles inside are just rusted to pieces. i have the idea of cutting a 2" hole in the end cap and yank out the fiberglass packing and baffle chunks, then weld in some cheap 2" diameter baffles to muffle the sound some (i dont care for really loud pipes anymore) any suggestions on where to look for some cheap baffles? these dont have to be super hgh tech/high buck as these pipes will eventually get 4 supertrapp baffles as soon as the money situation improves. i've been procrastinating on this job but now that i have the kerker pulled off and boxed up ready to ship, i need to get off my ass and get this exhaust done.

There isn't any fiberglass inside those pipes.  The baffling is metal and is substantial.  I have large pieces of the assembly moving around inside my spare set and i can tell you for sure that they won't come out of a 2" hole.  Perhaps yours aren't as far gone.  . .That seems to be the rub with buying a pretty looking used set of these closed pipes. . . .

there is definetly some kind of packing in there. after cutting the center of the end cap off there it is...........after yanking that part out there is another "end cap with 2 small diameter tubes through it. and ALOT of crap rattling around in there. this is becoming a larger and larger project at every turn.
