Andy, I also checked out your website and was pleased to find my mate Woody in there.
Next time you see Phil, ask him for his Snetterton BBC video. He took on the elite of the BSB riders on their factory bikes and blew then into the weeds.
I think the fastest was Leon Haslam on the factory Ducati, it reached a speed of about 175mph from a rolling start speed around 75/80mph.
Phil went over the same distance but from a stand still to 205mph through the same trap. :o ;D ;D ;D

Hi all, just a quick update on Sundays Thundersprint, a brilliant day.

We worked on getting the bike running right up to Saturday evening, so didnt know if we would make the Race, the bike only turned a wheel Saturday evening & if you scroll down you can see the video Suzy shot of me testing outside the house!

Luckily all the gear linkages worked & the motor ran strong, but with only 20 miles to bed in the new brakes & scrub in the tyres Saturday night we were not realy ready for Sundays Thundersprint.

Well we loaded up the van about 8.00 & set off at 3.00 in the morning to get to the paddock by 5.00, scuitinering was a worry but she sailed through & i quickly signed on & walked the course.

The paddock was amazing with Ex world Champion Phil Redman & Sammy Millar also racing, couldnt believe it when i was in the rides breifing with these guys & Steve Parrish.

Practice arrived at 7.30 & the runs went really well with a best time of 31.9 & the bike launching & cornering very well (just kept saying to myself over the run dont drop it dont drop it !)

The crowds were amazing the paddock full & great responce to the bike & the finish, thanks to Robbo & Pricey who turned up to give support, when the final runs were called i decided to try to chip my times down & if possible get below 30.

All 3 runs went very well faster each run finishing with a 29.24 i was made up.

Thats it for now i will post more pics as they come in, & now get down to improving the brakes & aim for a low 27 next time
